Student safety is important to Eden CISD!
Beginning March 2021, Eden CISD began using STOPit, an online and app-based system, to empower students, parents, teachers, and others to anonymously report concerning behavior to school officials. This includes, but not limited to, bullying, cyberbullying, or threats of violence or self-harm.
STOPit does more than help schools address incidents and mitigate risk. It will help us go beyond reacting to bullying and inappropriate behavior and begin deterring it. We are empowering students to become upstanders in their school community. This is important as we continue to provide a positive school climate and safe learning environment for all students.
How to report your concern
With STOPit, users can submit anonymous reports containing text, photos, or video. Administrators are then able to manage incidents in a backend management system. This system provides efficient investigative tools to staff, including the ability to message with the reporter, which will allow our school to address issues faster. There are two ways to access STOPit to make an anonymous report.
Web-based Reporting - Submit a web-based report by following these steps:
Enter the school access code: @EdenCISD
Create and submit your report.
STOPit App - Use the STOPit app to submit a report following these steps:
Download the app from the App Store or Google Play.
Click on the STOPit app.
Enter the school access code: @EdenCISD
Click on REPORT.
Create and submit your report.
