We've begun to receive phone calls regarding Pre-K and Kindergarten roundup, and while it's definitely on our radar, we aren't quite there yet. FCCLA Announcment-Taste of Eden

Due to a limited amount of participants for the Taste of Eden event, we unfortunately are going to have to cancel it at this time in hopes that it can be rescheduled at a later date. Thank you to everyone that signed up and was interested in participating.

Thank you to all the fans who made tonight's atmosphere at the games a lot of fun! Great job by the cheerleaders, Mrs. Miller, the student section and all of the fans for your support. The girls have clinched a spot in the UIL 1A D1 Basketball playoffs, and the boys are in a good spot. It was a great night to be a Bulldog!

On Monday, February 9th we will have our Spring Sports parent-athlete meeting at 6pm in the Cafetorium. We will hear a presentation for athletics fundraising from Team Funded, then will have a brief meeting about JH & HS spring sports - as well as some discussion about the new alignments and what we can best do to help our programs continue to grow & increase our chances of success.

We encourage parents of current 5th grade students who plan on participating in athletics to come as well, as our current participation numbers indicate that we will have 6th grade students eligible to participate in athletics in the 2026-27 school year.

2026-2028 UIL Alignments were released this morning. Basketball district will stay exactly the same. Football district changed to where we have MUCH less travel! Gonna have to #EarntheRight!

Hi Everyone,

In light of some changes this week, attached are the updated athletic schedules for this week. The changes from what was sent out on Sunday have been highlighted. Thanks & have a good week!

Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 28th, will be a regular school day, with buses running on their normal schedule. Please plan to arrive to school at your normal time, while allowing extra time for safe travels.

After another check of the roads & parking lot at the school, we WILL NOT have any Open Gym today. Please stay safe & warm today. As of now, all scheduled games for this week will continue as scheduled.

Basketball update: Varsity Boys @ Olfen has been rescheduled to Wednesday, January 28th at 5pm. Varsity Girls will still play Lohn at Eden on Wednesday, January 28th at 5pm.

Eden CISD – School Closure
Out of an abundance of caution, Eden CISD will be closed and all classes and school activities are canceled on Tuesday, January 27, due to unsafe road conditions.
Classes will resume as scheduled on Wednesday, January 28.
We will continue to monitor weather conditions and will share any updates as needed. Please stay safe and warm.

The district is monitoring road and weather conditions and will update parents on website and social media. Any decisions about the start time for Tuesday, January 27th will be posted by 3:00 pm tomorrow.

We hope this finds you safe & warm. Here is the JH & HS athletics schedules for the week of January 26th - a busy week of basketball, once we can get back to school. Due to the road conditions, there will be no athletic activities on Monday, January 26th. Let's have a great week!

Early Release – Friday, January 23
Out of an abundance of caution due to the threat of severe weather, Eden CISD will have an early release at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, January 23.
All students will have the opportunity to eat lunch prior to dismissal. Buses will run at 12:30 p.m.
This early release will allow everyone time to get home safely and prepare for the incoming weather. Please take care and stay warm this weekend.
We will continue to monitor weather conditions throughout the weekend and will share any updates as needed. Be sure to watch our Facebook page for information regarding a possible late start on Tuesday, January 27.

High School Basketball Update:

Due to illness within the Lohn girls basketball team they do not have enough players for Thursday, so the Varsity Girls game vs. Lohn will be postponed to next week (we'll have a date set by tomorrow).

The Varsity boys game has been moved up to 5:00pm vs. Lohn in Eden on Thursday, January 22nd.

Due to the chance of inclement weather this weekend we have decided to postpone our Taste of Eden event to Sunday, February 8th. We would also like to encourage more people to participate to make this a fun family friendly event that we can hopefully continue for years to come.
