At last night’s meeting, the Board of Trustees named Matt Odom as the lone finalist for Superintendent of Schools for Eden CISD. Mr. Odom has been a visionary school leader, teacher, and coach for over twenty years. His expertise and proven leadership will help lead the district in the coming years. Mr. Odom is highly respected in the field of education and brings a steadfast dedication to the students and staff of the Eden community.
“Thank you to the Board of Trustees for their trust and support to lead Eden CISD," said Mr. Odom. "I look forward to building on the great foundation of our district to support students, staff, and families."
Mr. Odom is no stranger to our district and has served our students in different roles. He has served as Athletic Director, Head Coach for various sports, and Principal at Eden CISD.
His diverse experiences across teaching, leadership, and administration make him a highly respected and dedicated leader in the field of education. His dedication and passion make him the right leader for the future.

The Lady Bulldogs are scheduled for their bi-district playoff game! The girls will take on Garden City on Monday, Feburary 10, at San Angelo Lakeview HS. Tipoff is at 6pm. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students. District and coaching passes are accepted. Good luck to the Lady Bulldogs!

Elementary pickup can resume normal traffic flow on Kelly Street this afternoon. Thanks to the City of Eden staff for their work to get the street open!
Elementary Parents:
Kelly Street is still closed near the elementary parking lot. We will follow the same procedures to drop off students that we did yesterday for pickup, coming down Kelly Street from the north. Parents should turn right on Eaker Street once they have dropped off their children. Thanks for your help.
Good luck to EJH! The basketball teams travel to Paint Rock this evening. Girls tip off at 6pm followed by the boys.
The Lady Bulldogs play at home for the last time this season on Friday, Jan 31. The girls host Paint Rock at 6pm. After the game, the Lady Bulldogs will recognize their Senior! Come out and cheer on the blue and white!
Because of road work that is currently blocking Kelly Street, we are going to reverse our traffic pattern this afternoon. Parents should plan to line up Kelly Street heading south. We will follow the same procedure to pick students up under the awning. Once parents have pickedup their children, they should turn right on Eaker Street to get back on Highway 83.
