Parents,
As the flu, RSV, and strep cases are on the rise, please remember your sick child should meet the following requirements to return to school:
1. Be fever-free (temperature below 100 degrees) for at least 24 hours WITHOUT the help of fever-reducing medicine such as Tylenol or ibuprofen. Fever-reducing medicine can also be found in some cold medicines, so please be aware of what your child is taking.
2. No episodes of vomiting or diarrhea in the past 24 hours.
If your child is sent home sick from school with fever, vomiting, or diarrhea, he or she should NOT be at school the next day.
Our school attendance today is 85%, which is well below our average attendance rate of 96%.
Please don't hesitate to contact the school nurse if you have questions. Thank you for helping us keep our students well!

On Friday, both girls' and boys' teams travel to Panther Creek for the boys' first and girls' third district games. The girls tipoff at 6pm followed by the boys.
With the forecast of winter weather next week, Eden CISD will test the alert notification system. A test message will be sent out this Thursday, January 11, at 7pm.
