The Cowboy Church will be hosting the Baccalaureate for the Senior class May 16th at 2 pm. Each student will be presented with a gift from the church. There will be a reception after the service with finger foods. This invitation is extended to the family of all seniors.

Eden CISD Parents, We will resume STAAR testing tomorrow, Wednesday, May 12th. Testing will continue through Friday, May 14th. • Wednesday, May 12th---3-8 Reading. • Thursday, May 13th---- 5th Science and 3,4,6,7,8 Math • Friday, May 14th---5th Math Wednesday and Thursday will be Hybrid Testing days. K-2nd and 9th-11th grade students will continue to do “require remote learning” from home. If you would like to send your K-2nd student to daycare on Thursday w/ Mrs. Estrada, please contact her at tiffany.estrada@edencisd.net ASAP. Parents, feel free to check your student out for the day once we finish testing on Wednesday and Thursday. We feel that this may be the best option for families due to the stress of the last 24 hours. Friday will not be a Hybrid Testing Day, and we will expect all students to be back on campus.

Dear Eden CISD Parents/Community, Due to the tragic events that occurred last night in Eden, we will be postponing STAAR Testing to later in the week. We believe that this is in the best interest of all stakeholders. Students that were scheduled to be in school today can still come and will be on a regular schedule. We will have counselors available to all students/staff in need. Our thoughts and prayers are with our community. Take care and God bless.

Kona Ice will be set up in front of the Nursing Home on May 7, 2021 from 2pm-4pm. Students and community members are invited to come and purchase snow cones during this time.

Senior Luncheon!!! On Thursday, May 13, the Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a luncheon in honor of the Senior Class of 2021. The luncheon will take place at the Multi-Purpose Center from noon until 1pm. Parents are invited to attend and must RSVP by Monday, May 10, if they want to have the meal ($10). CONGRATULATIONS to the Lady Bulldog track team They had a great first day at regional track meet. Kayli Hernandez will running in the 400m and 1600m finals tomorrow. The 1600m relay also made it to the finals. they all ran great!!! #BFND

The Eden Band had a great spring concert this evening. They sounded great and their hard work has paid off! Congrats to Mr. Reaux and all band members on a great year!!!! Go Dogs!

Eden OAP performed at Regional OAP Competition in San Angelo this past Friday. While they did not advance, this has been one of the most successful OAP’s that Eden has had in a very long time. Eden CISD Bands will hold its Spring Concert next week, Thursday, April 22, at 6:30pm. Please join us for a night of music from our beginner bands, Division I Eden Bulldog Band, and music from The Lion King! It will be live-streamed with in-person attendance at 50% capacity (each student may bring up to 3 guests). A reception will follow. We hope to see you there!

Dear Eden CISD Parents, May 11th and May 12th will be “hybrid” days for STAAR testing this year. Students that are testing on these days will be required to be on campus taking the STAAR test. Students that are not scheduled to test on these days will not be required to attend school “in-person”. They will be required to do “remote learning” on these days. May 11th • Students in grades 3-8 will be on campus taking the STAAR Math test. • Students in grades K-2 and 9-12 will be off campus doing “remote learning”. May 12th • Students in grades 3-8 will be on campus taking the STAAR Reading test. • Students in grades K-2 and 9-12 will be off campus doing “remote learning”. Eden CISD will be providing day-care on both days for students in grades K-2. This option would be for working parents that need someone to watch their K-2 students on these days.
