All after-school activities scheduled for today are canceled, including JH basketball games.

Eden CISD will begin school today (Thursday, Jan. 9) at 10am. Buses are running two hours late. Breakfast will not be served.
Secondary students should report to their 3rd period class to begin the school day.

Due to the winter weather forecast for possible freezing rain and potential hazardous driving conditions, Eden CISD will have a 10:00 am start with buses running 2 hours late. No breakfast will be served Thursday morning.
Additional announcements will be provided if conditions change.

Report Cards have been published in the parent portal. Log in to review your student's current averages. We will send home paper copies for 1st-5th grade tomorrow.

With the upcoming winter weather forecast, Eden CISD is reminding parents and families that we will use social media, the text/email notification system, and local TV channels in the event of a late start or school closure.
Families can expect a test message today (Tuesday, January 7) at noon. If you do not receive a text or email test message, please call us at 325.869.4121 or email misty.gandy@edencisd.net so that we can update your contact information.

If you are coming to the game tonight, stop by and see the sophomore class. They are selling raffle tickets for a chance to win this awesome metal bulldog sign. It's rivalry game day! The Blue and White host the Menard Yellowjackets this evening. The girls tip off at 6pm followed by the boys' game. Get your blue on and cheer on the Dogs!


Congratulations to the Blackwell Lady Hornets on winning the tournament championship!
And the Camberwell Dragons (from Australia) won runner-up!
Thanks to all the players, coaches, referees, and volunteers for making the tournament a success!



The Bulldogs won their early game and will face Grape Creek at 2:20 in the new school gym. Come out and cheer on the boys!

The Lady Bulldogs won their 9am game this morning and will play the Australian JV girls at 1pm in the new school gym. Come out and cheer on the Blue and White!

Boys' tournament schedule for today is shown below. Remember that some of these games are played at Eden and some are played at Menard.



Girls' tournament schedule for Saturday, Dec 28 is below. The brackets are grouped into Championship, Silver, and Bronze. The Silver bracket games will be played in Menard. The other two will be played in Eden.




The Concho-Menard County Classic kicks off today. This year, the tournament format will be different. Half of the games will be hosted at Menard HS and half will be hosted by Eden CISD. The brackets are shown below. The tourney is also only two days this year. Come out and enjoy some holiday hoops!




FCCLA delivered Christmas gifts to the Concho Valley Health and Rehab center today.


CONGRATULATIONS FOR OUTSTANDING ATTENDANCE. WE HAD 26 SECONDARY STUDENTS WIN GIFT CARDS FOR HAVING AT LEAST 95% ATTENDANCE FOR THE SECOND QUARTER OF SCHOOL.
